Week 31 Friday

Today’s scripture selection: Ezekiel 43-48

Today’s key verse: Ezekiel 43:2

Not many of us have had visions of God. No wonder then when we are a little intimidated by language like this:

“…and I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of rushing waters, and the land was radiant with His glory.”

That would certainly get my attention.

Now and then it’s a good thing that scripture reminds us of God’s glory in all it’s grandeur and power. Then we aren’t quite as tempted to act as if God is at our beck and call.

Let’s take time – regularly – to remind ourselves just how great and glorious our God is.

Then we can stand even more amazed, and grateful, realizing how much He loves us.

Prayer: Almighty God, may I never take your glory – or your love – for granted. AMEN .
